NMPHC is seeking candidates for Chief Medical Officer. NMPHC is a community health center located in Northeast Mississippi with eight community clinics and one school-located clinic and offers medical, dental, and behavioral health services. National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program site. Time will be divided between clinical practice and administrative duties.
Summary: The Chief Medical Officer shall be directly responsible for overseeing all health care operations as outlined by the Clinical By-Laws and NMPHC policies and procedures. The Chief Medical Officer supervises all providers and medical staff.

Qualifications:
Licensed as a Medical Doctor or Doctor of Osteopathy within the State of Mississippi without restrictions; the Chief Medical Officer must demonstrate qualities of leadership, tact, professionalism, and administrative abilities. Board Certification in a primary care specialty is required with family practice (with or without OB) or internal medicine preferred. A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing physician.
Salary:
Based on experience and at the discretion of the Chief Executive Officer with consent of the Board Personnel Committee.
Staff Supervised:
Direct: Staff Physicians, Family Nurse Practitioners, Chief Quality Officer, Chief Nursing Officer, Laboratory Director
Indirect: All clinical staff.
